We are currently working with St. John Ambulance Barrie Simcoe Muskoka on securing a date/time and location for the 2019 CPR Choking Session.
Our goal is to have in mid-February once again and in Tottenham.
February 2018 Recap
Cheryl Allin Boston and I were very touched to see the incredible turnout today at our first of several CPR and Choking Sessions led by the great people from St. John Ambulance Barrie Simcoe Muskoka. In total 76 people of all ages attended and it was especially great to see so many young people there.
In addition to learning vital life saving skills, we raised money through wonderful donations for the EarlyON Child and Family Centres - Collingwood & Alliston to help contribute to healthy snacks and everyday resources for children at the Centre.
Thank you to St. John Ambulance Barrie Simcoe Muskoka for your time today. Thank you to the Stephanie Gaetz Keepsafe Foundation for your wonderful support to allow us to host this class free of charge. We also like to thank everyone who promoted the event including our friends and family, The Alliston Herald @simcoenews, The New Tecumseth Times Tottenham Oldtimers Slopitch League Tottenham and New Tecumseth Community Group Town of New Tecumseth Alliston Legion Branch 171 @921myfmnewtec and all of the local businesses who put up posters in their stores.
Lastly, the inspiration for today's class was Keanan's legacy to help others and save lives. We love you Special K and know you were there with us today.
